What to Wear

Most importantly be comfortable. Wear clothing that will help you express your personality. Almost anything will work however a few rules to keep in mind are
-solids always photograph well
-avoid stripes and busy prints
-avoid large writing, logos, or characters
-longer sleeves flatter arms

Other things to remember---
Long sleeve dark colored shirts (especially black) are great for studio work. Color is nice for outside. Denim is always /wonderful/. Jackets are a good accessory and provide an extra clothing option. Of Course, light colors look good on the beach and on light backgrounds. Flowing Skirts or dresses are terrific for females as the are versatile, flattering and swishy!

When choosing colors, consider tones that bring out your skin and eyes. Good colors are warm tones, earth tones, warm reds, pinks, and any blues.

Makeup

Makeup should be simple and natural. Base or powder is important for even skin tone, but dont over do it. Be sure to have extra powder to control shine. (some makeup is better at controlling shine) Do play up your eyes. They are your most important facial feature. Make sure hair is freshly styled and clean. There are many products on the market to help keep hair smooth and frizzless which is important in our humidity. Bring a brush or comb for touch ups. Also check your nails.
